Fall is here!

Jessalin is getting so big! Can't beleive she is 9 months old already! She is standing up on her own now and can cruise around the living room holding onto furniture. She has learned to clap her hands and will do it every time she gets excited (especially when daddy comes home).
We had fall here for only 1 week! The leaves started falling last week and now we have snow already... figures... gotta love Utah.

Our baby is 8 months old already!

I can't believe the baby is 8 months old already! She grows too fast!

Her daddy is getting really good at the photography thing so we decided to show off her 8 month photo shoot!! It helps that she is so cute!!

Near the end of the photo shoot, she got cranky so thats why she is only wearing 1 hair thing... then we had to resort to giving her a bink and a stuffed animal! It was fun!!

Jessalin's Blessing

Jessalin was blessed today. Nate's grandpa did the blessing and did a wonderful job! She looked so beautiful in her dress and behaved very well despite the fact that she was way past time for her nap. We were so happy to be thogether with both sides of our family at the same time. That hasn't happened since our wedding! It was a wonderful day...

Thanks to all of those that helped with the after party and to all of those that traveled so far to make Jessalin's day special!

She didn't win anything at the baby show, but we were still sure she was the cutest baby there! She was 7 months old just barely...

Mothers day 2009

My first mother's day was awesome... not sure why we didn't get any pics with Daddy on father's day... Probably cuz he thinks he needs to be BEHIND the camera... he does do a great job though!

Disneyland

Nate's Job sent him to cali for training for a week. We got to go to disneyland for 4 of the days!! It was a blast! Jess didn't really care about it but we had fun anyway!

Jess was 3 months old 2 days after easter, so we took her 3 month pics on easter! She Hated her bonnet, but looked adorable in her little pink dress!!

2 months old!!

AHHHHH sleep!!!

Jessalin slept for 8 hours straight last night!! That qualifies as sleeping through the night!! Yay!

Smiles!

I am pretty sure Jess gave me her first "real" smiles yesterday!! I was changing her and talking to her and she looked at me and gave a small smile. I laughed and smiled back. Then her smile got bigger and bigger! She was cooing and I could tell she was happy! Yay her first real smile!!

First Photo Shoot!

Jessalin Lilly Webb

Born January 14th 2009!
She was 6 lbs 7 oz and 19 inches...
We are sure she is the cutest baby in the world... but maybe we are biased!

We got to the hospital at 7 am. I was SOOOO ready to have her here and to not be pregnant anymore! The doctor came in at 9 am and decided to break my water. Then the fun started... or not! The contractions started coming almost immediatly. They got stronger and stronger until I thought I just couldnt handle it anymore. They were really strong for about 5 hours. Just when I thought I might just die... The fabulous anesthetist came in with the epidural! He is my HERO!!!

The scary part... Just before the epidural the doctors noticed Jessalin's heart rate was dropping signifigantly with every contraction. They thought it might get better with the epidural because I would be more relaxed. There is nothing scarier than listening to your child's heart rate almost stopping and there is nothing you can do about it.

After the epidural her heart rate didn't get better. They decided to give me Pitocin to get things going faster. The doctor came in after an hour of that and said that I should be dilated far enough to start pushing... if so I could have a regular delivery... if not I would have to have a c-section, because he tought the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, cutting off oxygen.

No such luck! I was only half way!!! I was so angry and sad because that was not in my plan. Within 10 minutes my sweet angel was born! I will never forget that first cry, and the first time I saw her. She was beautiful, even covered in blood from the surgery!

Nate watched the whole thing and never got sick or passed out. Even when all my guts were out!! hehe
